Non è vero, ma ci credo – Adobe Creative Jam Italy

This is a project carried out in three hours with Creative Cloud to Adobe Creative Jam contest organized in Naples, Italy by the AWUGIT. The issue to be addressed was “not true, but believe” (It is untrue, yet I believe it) Quote by Benedetto Croce.

My team with Valentina Rizzo, not to turn away from our traditions, we have achieved a Batman film poster style dedicated to Saint of Naples’ San Gennaro “which is like a superhero who monitors and protects the city. So when people see the miracles made by the saint exclaim “it’s not true, but I believe it.”

The Passion of Vesuvio

“The Passion of Vesuvio” is an abstract representation of this volcano that characterizes the city of Naples and its inhabitants. This giant is set in the midst of a broad and fertile plain, quiet, seemingly inert, the Vesuvius is a presence for the Neapolitans, fair, familiar, almost friendly. With this color I wanted to capture the warmth with which it is represented the people of Naples and at the same time the danger that this could be huge volcano, but at the same time that everyone lives the life relished coming up to the apex without being afraid of the risk. The volcano is repeated several times in the representation because it is seen in a different way “different faces” from the people.
